3. Quotes and Pricing

3.1 Free Quotes

We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all services. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Final Pricing

The final price may differ from the quote if:

  • Additional work is discovered and agreed upon
  • Materials costs differ from estimates
  • The scope of work changes

Any significant price changes will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

3.3 Call-Out Charges

A call-out charge may apply for emergency or same-day services. This will be clearly communicated when booking.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

4.1 Booking

Services are booked by mutual agreement on a specific date and time. We will confirm all bookings in writing (email or text).

4.2 Our Cancellation

If we need to cancel, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates.

4.3 Customer Cancellation

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

5. Payment Terms

5.2 Payment Timing

Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. For larger projects, staged payments may be required.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Ensure clear access to work areas
  • Remove or protect valuable items from work areas

  • Ensure pets are secured during our visit
  • Be present or arrange access for the work

7. Our Responsibilities

  • Clean up after completing work
  • Provide certification where required by law
  • Maintain appropriate insurance

8. Guarantees and Warranties

8.1 Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. This covers defects resulting from our work, not normal wear and tear.

8.2 Materials

Materials supplied by us carry the manufacturer's warranty. Materials supplied by customers are the customer's responsibility.

8.3 Exclusions

Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or abuse
  • Work modified by others after completion
  • Pre-existing faults not identified during our work

9. Liability and Insurance

9.1 Insurance

We maintain public liability insurance covering up to £5 million.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of earnings or business
  • Pre-existing defects not caused by our work
  • Damage to items not moved as requested

10. Electrical and Gas Work

10.1 Certifications

All electrical work requiring certification will be certified by a qualified electrician. Gas work is only performed by Gas Safe registered engineers.

10.2 Testing

We may recommend electrical or gas safety testing for your property. While not always legally required, this is for your safety.

11. Materials and Disposal

11.1 Sourcing Materials

Unless otherwise agreed, we will source materials. You may provide materials, but we cannot guarantee the quality or suitability of customer-supplied materials.

11.2 Waste Disposal

We will dispose of waste created by our work. Large quantities of waste may incur additional charges.

12. Complaints Procedure
